Registration Guide of SetuFax Account

1. Purchase the pre-paid SetuFax account card.

2. Go to www.setufax.com, and then click on click here to sign up.

3. Read the terms and conditions given, then click on "I Accept" button (i.e.: you agree).

4. The sign-up widow is displayed next which is given below.

5. Enter the Serial Number, Account Number, Pin and your personal profile (you will receive all your receipt and confirmation on the same).

6. Click on "Submit".

7. After a while, you will receive the signature file on your registered email ID. (Save that signature file into your PC and also back up for this file to avoid inconvenience when you format your PC)

8. Congratulations! You are have successfully registered the SetuFax account and can start sending faxes now.

Setting up and Configuring "SetuFax Software"

1. Please download the SetuFax client software from our website www.setufax.com

2. To begin, double click on the setufax.exe

3. Then click "Next".

After you click the finish button the wizard will close and an icon named "SetuFax" will appear in your program files. You have successfully installed SetuFax Software in your computer.

9. Setup your account in SetuFax software.

Attach the signature file, which you have received on your registered email after registration. Put your registered email ID and your name.

SMTP Server : mail1.mtnl.net.in ( Example) (SMTP should be of the Internet Connection of ISP which you have taken) Insert the Port say: 25

Suppose your computer is on LAN then your smtp should be the same as you use with Email program like outlook, Netscape etc. It should be like your IP Address or any other Please consult your network administrator about this.

Insert the port say: 80 Click on Save Setup.

Congratulation !!! You have successfully configured SetuFax client software. Now you can start to send Pc-to-Fax worldwide.

Send Fax to: address line will be something like: 91228330880

You need to enter destination fax number in Send Fax To: address line. Fax no. format is "+ Country Code + City Code + Fax Number "

Example: 91221234567 Here country code is "91" then the area code "22" and then the fax number "1234567".

Click on Browse and select your document, which you want to send destination fax machine. Document file format should be tiff, jpeg, bmp or text. We recommend to use only tiff format document for better result. You can convert any file into tiff format using tiff converter utility on above link.

In Subject field, please enter your subject matter for reference for particular fax delivery. To send faxes take your "Internet Connection" and click the "SetuFax" icon. It will show you a dialog box saying sending fax. Please patient while your fax is being delivered to our server. You can see the message whether your fax has been sent successful or SMTP error message because of any problem in configuration or Internet connection.
