How it works ?

SetuFax maintains complete accountability for its customer's messages throughout the global routing and delivery process. To keep customers fully informed of the status of the faxes they send through the SetuFax network, all SetuFax for Internet's service provide status notifications, confirm or failure notices. These notifications are sent to the sender's registered email address with SetuFax service.

The SetuFax system's reliability is a result of its superfluous Internet and telephony infrastructure. This provides alternate delivery routes to destinations anywhere in the world. SetuFax is conceited to maintain guaranteed delivery and offer pricing that assumes the costs of alternate routing.

Example: - A customer sends faxes to France, where SetuFax has a local Internet/ Fax node.

Preferred Route:- Most of the time, SetuFax uses the Internet as the least-cost route and attempts to send the fax to the Paris node for local delivery.

Backup Route: - If there is a problem with the preferred Internet route to the Paris node, SetuFax immediately and transparently switches to the Global Long Distance Telephone Network. In this case, SetuFax delivers the fax to the U.S. SetuFax main server or dials the fax machine in France directly.

Virtually Unlimited Capacity: - Unlike network that use a fax server to transmit faxes, SetuFax for Internet provides users with virtually unlimited capacity. There is never a worry about increasing server capacity to prevent overloads.

Status & Notifications: - Registered user get automatic receipt notice , delivery and non-delivery notifications to an email address registered by the person who sign up SetuFax service.

When customer send fax, first he receive receipt from SetuFax server from job confirmation. So customer can assure that his fax has been received by SetuFax and terminate to destination fax machine. If there is delay from ISP's SMTP than fax document doesn't reach to SetuFax server on time. You will get confirmation from SetuFax server about your document status.

SetuFax's delivery status notifications eliminate the need to call recipients to determine whether they have received their faxes. This feature alone can reduce the hidden costs associates with sending faxes.

Sample of Receipt notice: - When customer send document to destination fax machine using SetuFax , it send following contents of receipt as confirmation of fax job received by SetuFax.

Sample of Fax Status Report (FAILURE): - If the receiving fax machine is unable to accept the incoming fax for any reason( the fax busy, does not answer, is out of paper, Phone network error etc.) the SetuFax network will make multiple delivery attempts over the course of 10 minutes. If these attempts fail, the customer will receive an email as fax status report for failure within 15 minutes. A failure fax report contains an explanation of why the fax was undeliverable. The contains of typical failure fax status report are summarized below.
